What Makes You an Ouzzi This Time Around

Listeneing to: Ydo2 el bab, Amr Diab

Alright, you need to know that the essential thing is to speak English, and if you can read my blog then ok go on, other than English, I think only the Chinese and South Korean can live there as the massive Chinese and South Korean population!

1- Look like them: Well, as per statistics, Australia is the second most diverse country in the world, number one is of course the United States of America *rollingeyes*. I think just add a couple of Latinos and a couple of African American and it’s number one. You’ll fit there wherever you’re originally from.

2- Dress like them: You gotta have 3 noticeable piercings at least, Skinny pants, a dotted red dress/shirt and a stripped yellow cropped jacket, a mini skirt over the skinny pants, it’s all about colors and mismatching!

3- Talk like them: This is quite fun, it reminded me of my summer school days in London when I used to mock the English accent. `
*Here, in the morning "G’Day!".
*Start every sentence with "I reckon".
*Whenever someone says something that requires no response, just say "No worries".
*Replace every "Yes" or "Yeah" with a "Yeey".
*End every sentence with "Mate" or "Love".
*Whenever someone says "thank you" you ALWAYS reply with "No worries".
*Refer to the bathroom as the "Loo" !!
*Try to add a weird English accent to anything you say!Keep on saying "No worries" for no reason whatsoever!!

4- Act like them: Just always try to be funny, be nosey in everyone’s business and when you see someone you THINK you know you scream out and get all high in a crazy way but still be polite and mannered, and you’ll hit Ouzzi.

5- Be one: They just like to be weird, so if you are one, you gotta be a Goth, a Punk, a Transsexual, or just run around cross-dressing in public.

**Note to readers; please feel free to add anything to the list, as per statistics ALSO; Ouzzi land is the number one immigrant destination and we can provide the interested people some help here ;).

~Lol. To sum it up; I lubbed Ouzz

You're a total hedonist, especially with sex, gambling, and drinking.
You shine brightly every night, but you do the ultimate walk of shame each morning.

Irony is Mostly Sad..

Two years ago, I started noticing one of my close relatives had too much appointments and check ups, and I always thought she's just taking care of herself too much; after all she is a doctor!

Well, last summer, she just collapsed; she spit blood, and lost a lot of weight in such a short period! She went to the ER right away that day. I knew something weird was going on, and one of her daughters kept telling us about something she found in the maid's room, which looked like some kinda charm! Someone took it to a shaikh that day. And we never heard the end of that story, we were just terrified.

Two days later, they say they found a tumour in her tummy. And it was the first time she knew about it, turns out she had been checking what's wrong all this time and no one knew!! She had about three surgeries that summer to remove it, and a lot more surgeries to clean what they made!! And told her that by God's well she's gonna be OK, but, had to take chemo!!

She knew what Chemo did to people, and she figured a 5% chance the tumour is coming back is not worth the Chemo. She rested at home at last. In two months she reported back to the hospital where she worked, and we saw her again in gatherings, she was as good as she always was. I always loved her sense of humor. She was always fun to be with.

This summer, we been away, mom tried calling her a couple of times, and she never answered. Mom was always wondering why. Last day, we called one of her daughters, and she told us she's back in hospital, and the tumour is back. Not so much info. But that was enough to make us all feel guilty and sad..

I went to see her the next day I was in Riyo, that's why I couldn't make it to the bloggerts meet-up, and she was so pale, and looked sad. Even her voice wasn't clear!! She didn't move easily cuz of the tumour's big size!! Heck, she even had problems breathing!! And her 25 year old engineer son greets us telling that she's a goner!!! He made us all cry!!! I can't believe that guy!!! (I think he didn't really know what was wrong with his mom) Then, her husband jocks in front of her about a girl flirting with him. THE DAY BEFORE HER SURGERY!!! Talk about caring!!!

She had surgery, removing her Uterus, they say it went well, and I sure hope she's better. No visits are allowed yet, but I really want to see her and hug her, and wish her health! But I don't want to break down crying, she needs everyone to be strong for her!! And it is really hard! She's too young for this!! I know God is testing her faith. But I can't help but think it's unfair, for her, and her 4 year old son ='(

Aunt Najla, this entry is dedicated to you! I wish I can do more, I love you, and I pry for you non stop.

Home, Sweet Home.

Listening to: Whatcha Lookin At, Whitney Houston

I recently watched a movie about some Lebanese hijackers who took a plane and threatened to kill everyone as a rebel act to the Israelis invading Lebanon, all I can say about the movie is it was cruel, the week before, the same channel of Fox network had a documentary about Palestine and surprisingly all the facts were bull. I just can't say I trust TV no more!! And I loved TV!!!

OK, Then came the 9/11 movie -I don't recall it's name, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about- which I had no interest to watch, mom and dad did though, and told me it was cruel too. Two days later I go and watch Snakes on a Plane, not a smart move; this movie was good but freaky! And all I been thinking while I was on my transit trips was an anaconda falling down somewhere.

LOL, the best thing about the movie though was it made me like the flight attendants and respect them, and that a male flight attendant is cool =P. Yeah, well, they were extremely nice to us on our way back home, so there, I just love people who smile when they talk to you.
I'm home, safe and sound, THIS PLACE IS HOT!! And my cell took two hours to pick STC's signal - I can not really say that I blame it =S-I unpacked, now I need to sleep..

-Note to all Riyo bloggerets: I AM BACK, INCLUDE ME WHEN YOU HAVE A FREGGIN' MEET-UP, DAMN IT!!! OK ;) hehNighty night!

Between Me and the Ocean..

It's 11:30 PM. I am at the beach listening to Dido's "Here With Me" on my Nokia MP3 Player since my Ipod mini's battery died. With all the weekend hustle behind me on Cavill Avenue, I can't help but think about you. Are you at the beach too? Was our friendship really meaningless, when I thought it was so real. When I remember your email last week saying you remembered me, I can't help but quote when you said "What do you want from me!!". I have been lied to and cheated on and stabbed by all sorta people, and I was OK, but this time, I doubt if I'll ever trust a friend again.

Euphoria once wrote a post about forgiveness, when I read the comments, I decided not to comment my self, as I thought it would be weird to say "I forgive but never foget", and sadly, I think things will never be the same again. I wipe my tears, pick up my gold and black hand bag, and decide to head home.I know I said I will stop bloggin for a while, but I really think I am posting this, after all it's MY blog.

On a further note, I thank my sisters and friends Maha, Farah and Bassem for their concerns. Guys I know you're all peaceful, 7ata farah, I remember you told me before going to the states you might delete ur blog, its not that, it's just the pressure to blog now! No one gets it's an online JOURNAL! Not a newspaper column! And I just was hurt when I wrote that, and I wanted to do something about it but couldn't and that hurt me more!!

~For whoever is bored, add this guy to your IM smarterchild@hotmail.com he just annoys me.

-5 more days to Riyo and work! -Someone is not so into that mood, might as well take a longer vacation-. We'll see about that. For now, laters.

Rawthah and 6arrad (Take one)

Listening to: My Boo, Usher and Alicia Keys

Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Australia, UAE! Yes, United Arab Emirates is here, I went to Dubai in spring break and I didn't see this much UAEans.. Ash told me this is 5aleje bimbo paradise, but it's more like UAE bimbo paradise, and it's more bimbo dudes than dudets =\

I'm not complaining, seeing people of both genders who got real long silky hair.. No sense of style whatsoever, Who walk and spill money and never pick it up, their chicks make fun of them in public and then again they never talk back.

Until today, a mistake was made and one did say something to a Bahrini guy who took his built -YES, I SAID BUILT- and whooped her with it! It was a crazy scene, and unlike my beautiful country the cops were there in a minute and filled up Cavill Street. I don't know all the facts, and I couldn't see with all the people calling their friends and cousins to come and "check it out". But I know this; we are barbarians!! At least our men are =P

**Update; Maha says she never met a Rawathah, nor a 6arad in her 5 years in UAE so =\

Aussi Land

Listening to: Away from the Sun, Three Doors Down

This is a real long post. I havent posted in ages so I earned it, and you guys will miss me again, I just know it =p

Wohooo!! I arrived at Aussie land at last!! The land of the friendliest people, or so they say.. Lol, and they got my lil' sister strip for them to inspect! She thought they were the meanest, and my lil' bro's antique pistols he bought from KL were taken by the "quarantine" people at customs where they accused him of ILLEGALY brining weapons, oh, thank you for not jailing my 13 year old bro!!

Airport was hell as you can see.. But after 20 hrs of travel and airports, anything would have been hell to us. Thank God we at last arraived safe and sound in one of the most beutiful cities I've seen, and when I say beutifull I mean it's ALL beutifull, not the kind of city that has some good looking hang out spots.. This is a real good place to live in, no wonder it's the number one country in number of immagrenats. What else, Blonds, Casinos, Rich Japanese Boarding schools, High rents, Chinese population and hot people! I swear, almost everybody looks good here. ALMOST.

Sydney was really nice, and then, Melbourne was even Better.. Gold Coast has to rock now or we'll really be dissapointed.

-My sis and bro and me decided to work here for 5 years and become millioners!! I mean that 7-eleven guy gets SAR 27K per month!!!

-I think I saw Prince Harry today at the Crown Casino! I have to google where's he at at the mo'.
Well..

-I'm actually reading books again!! I just might join the bookclub!

I'll just be clear on one point I made in my last post, I WAS RIGHT =D the Malaysian people WERE a combanation of South Easteren Asians who went there to mine for minerals.

Me posting anytime soon is rather "dodgy" so, later!

Kuala Lampur, Malaysia

This is our second day here.. (This entry might be unorginised, I just had a bath and not yet brushed my teeth, so don't judge!)

I must say I was surprised this country turned out to be fun despite all the Head worn abayaz and the thoobs people.. At the airport I was really shocked to see so much of this pic. Then a Malaysian told me it's "SaudI Season" LOL! They have a name for it!!! And to top it off, he said a lot of people who were in Lebanon came here after their summer plans were ruined. And he asked if we were also Lebanese.. LOL, my dad said we were and we came here running away from war, I REALLY didn't like his answer.. But what can I say, we don't choose our dads.. Everything here is good, but the Gulfers!! Targeem and following!!! This is so not the Gulf people, get a life and go away!! I swear it was too homy for me! It kinda has that touch of Edgware Road in London.. LOL Chinatown here was a real nice experience, cheap stuff sold by hot gangster Koreans
-only one was hot and I bought a stupid necklace cuz he was sucha cuty =$-..
OK, since I never been here before I'm trying to form an understanding about these people and as far as I got, there is no such this as "Malaysians". It was just a bunch of Koreans, Chinese, Indians and Australians who got married and produced these people who formed "the real Asia". And as far as I know this was a Muslim country, but till today I have not seen a single masjid, seen lots of temples though.. I Found the Kibla way very easily in all hotel rooms but also I found a Bible..

What else.. Oh yeah, I forgot my toothbrush at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel and that just sucks!! I found out today morning, and I just didn't want to wake up. I am up now, it's 2 PM KL time, people are off to the malls and streets and cafés and I'm home alone with my little bro. He's watching a movie. And I think I'll hit the GYM and then pass a Drug Store for a toothbrush.. Too hot for me to go out shopping honestly.. Oh yeah, one more thing; This place gt more 7-elevens than the States do if that's possible, I swear everytime I turn my head I see one, Note; To try out those Slurpies Dotssy and my sis-in-law say are so great! Two more days and I'm leaving..

Gotta go sweat now, laters!

We're Not in Kansas Anymore =p

Listening to: Beladkom 7elwa.. Bas el wa6an malah mtheel by a7med 7ussain

Hola all =D
Well, I am not in Spain, but simply; THE SONG ROCKS! -And 7ussain's the cutest *blush*-

Anyhoo, I am on my annual leave, I been waiting for so long to have thins break, and I intend to enjoy it, thank God I went on it after all my loved ones left Lebanon.. May God get peace to our Middle East!
Now, I just wish to R.E.L.A.X. Couldn't stay off my blog for so long though, it's been 5 days already! O.K. Let's start with some boring diary stuff; My flight was at 10:55 PM (on the beloved Saudi Airlines), anyhoo, by 8 we get a phone call that the boarding is postponed to 1 AM.. And again a call after half an hour, the flight is at 2.30 AM.
Why we feel bad about now, is because we have no dinner plans! LOL, well, first thing I see on the plane was a cockroach!! I never seen a roach on a plane before this time!! Then, my big bro who sat 2 seats away from me calls the attendant, and tells him: "why doesn't that light work?! Why doesn't ANYTHING work on this plane!!" -you oughtta love my big bro!!- I just LMAO, and thought this was going to be a long 8 hour flight, and I'm gonna sleep through it as I always do =D

-Seen Pirates of the Caribbean II, only thing I got to say is; I hate sequels!!

P.S. CBOX Spammers; love ya all and miss ya big time! =*

Laters!

Pictures from Saudi Arabia

Today morning, at the last traffic light on my way to work, I saw this really old guy, he was at least 60 years old, walking with his stick and wearing his thobe and shma'3 and up from the morning.. Just to ask people to give out money to him.. I looked around in my large work bag for money, I remember I had a 50 Riyal bill thrown there somewhere. When I at last found it the old man was away =(

I almost cried. I don't want to see this picture. Not in my country, not for a fellow citizen.

Another picture;

A guy who used to work in Supreme court in his country came to join our fine establishment with a lot of fellow colleagues who are recruited like him, through a company, that eats up 2/3 of his salary in exchange of the semi yearly ticket and the poor accommodation!!

Third and last picture;
(this was actually from an article I read)

Tony and Ahmed were having a conversation at work..

Tony: What's that car you're driving?
Ahmed: It's a pick-up.
Tony: How come?
Ahmed: Cuz I use it to work and earn money, why you asking, what's your car?
Tony: A Range Rover.
Ahmed: Wow, how much salary are you getting so you can pay it off?
Tony: 50,000 basic, 20,000 for accommodation, 10,000 for the danger, 5,000 for the homesick, 3,000 for my pleasure, 6,000 for the yearly ticket. What about you?
Ahmed: I get paid 3250 SAR.
Tony: And that's for what??
Ahmed: For me not to beg!

(This post was about some things happening in Saudi Arabia, seconed picture and Tony from the third were not "Saudi" though..)

-Laters everyone.

God bless.
