Okay, I know this is a very old topic, and almost everyone who "talks" here, already had their say about it.
Well, I never thought I'd have my turn, but today, Friday, after Thoher prayer when all the family was gathered and a relative who sponsored the "Anti-Dens-Campaign" just a little too much.. The debate was intense, I had to document some of the thoughts here, cuz' most of those who wrote about it, were more or less, just like my relative in thought.. So here goes;
* Most supportive non-Arab country with the Palestinian Cause.
* Helped and had a big role in the Oslo II" Interim Agreement in 1995 to give Palestinian people a country.
* Their Prime minister was killed because of his support to the Palestinians. -You know by whom-
*When at last, the Palestine's got a country, they gave them 3 jets as a gif, no other Arab country did that, only Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal gave them one.
So what we might be doing right now is giving the Denmark and the west a real reason to hate Muslims and the Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-.
Punishing a country's nation for a single mans act!

U know when this boycott campaign was at peak, i was supporting the Danish products boycott. Now however, i think that we made our point..everyone knows that these cartoons were insulting..We should MOVE ON..we can't punish innocent people for some idiot's drawings..
its just like we are muslims..Usama bin laden (claims to be a muslim) so can the west accuse us all as terrorists? the answer is no.
(BTW,The percentage of the Danish exports to the WHOLE GULF area is not more than 3% !!)
We have never really bought alot of Danish products to begin with...Except Danish Butter cookies (so good).

Your totally right, a point has been proven now the French and the Sweedish people are getting mad at us in the media, what have we done??
I mean, when the American boycott started no one stuck to it? How come now all of a sudden we're strong? think about it..

look at it for the long run; everyone will hate us now, and not like they don't know the prophet, most people do and respect him even if they were Christians or Bodests.. He was a man of peace and honor, everyone knew, not a cartoon will change that.
