A good lesson I learnt this week end.
I can furnish this post with a funny story, but I don't want you guys to laugh at me, and have some knowledge to blackmail me with later =P

Why Do I Shut the People I Care For Off?

It's true it hurts most to me when it's from a loved one, a close friend, or a family member. But I do tend to shut them off, just like that, when I feel hurt and not give them the chance to explain.
Then again, I blame them for not trying harder if they really cared! OMG, why am I making it so hard for them to be there!! For all my friends, who stood there and bared with me, in my crazy acts, my sensitivity..

Thank you all, for simply, being my friends! It's true loving someone is the greatest feeling, but loving a friend is even better, we loose people we love. But we never loose a true friend.

Best Week-end Ever!!

Wednesday, was poker night, as usual with the gang -more like UNO and cards- =P

Thursday was the big day. Memo, my friend, I made a big invisible scene on her birthday, and I fought with a shared friend, and I didn't show up, or bring her anything.. Me and Sadeen eventually made up.. And felt sorry for what we did, until she came up with a plan to get Memo, the thing she adores most! Not so hard to guess that; It's a Range Rover!!

Called Memo, made plans for lunch at apple bees.. Made sure she had nothing to do, there is a wedding she "might" go to.. LOL, might my ass!!

9.30 AM Thursday, I wake up, call Sadeen, ask her what's up.. And she's like, should I wear make up or not =S DAMN SADEEN, DID WE GET THE CAR???? Tries to lie to me but we got it!! YAY!!!! Ok, meet you there at 1 PM.

11 AM, Call my cool cousin Dallah for help, phone's off!! Ok, SMS him, Call Fo0f ASAP.

12.30 PM I realize my little brothers friends came over and denominate our driver and the car. Call Sadeen, I need a ride! I know we're supposed t meet there!! I can't what do you me to do, get a taxi?! Ok ok, I'll call my bra.

12.45 PM Dallah calls, hey, how are ya? Mm, I need a favor.. Thing is we're getting a Range for my friend as a birthday gift for the day.. And umm , you know .. Yeah, I need you to pick the car for us please? Thanks a bunch!! I luv you!!

2.35 PM in the car shop -LOL, that sentence is so cool, yeah judge me ana ma7roma! =P-

Sadeen, Me and Dallah took the car, and went looking for a place t tint the windows, why's that? WE WANA DRIVE IT!!!

3:20 PM Memo's calling, Ahleen, eeh ana jaya m3 Sadeen, yeah we won't make till lunch, we're coming to your place, what do you mean meen ma3ana ?? laa2 sham3ahz in shargyah =S who said she's in Riyadh, girl, hold your horses, two mins and eft7ee el bab, k!

3.30 PM at Memo's door, Sadeen pulls her out and she has the stupidest smile when she sees the car!! Guys, are you kidding??!

Ok, we went in and pulled her sis and went out with thier driver to a place t get it tented -that was so hard to find we went by a million stations- we got it tented in the end black all over with one of the girls riding upfront and wearing her jeans jacket -that's all she needed to look like a guy!!- she was a big help to us, just looking at her no one would suspect :P cuz the front wasn't tented, we wouldn't see now, would we??

Dropped the driver and gave him 5 SAR -yeah we're cheap- and told him to go home, another girl went on the driver seat and cruised.. OMG! We felt so liberated!! Went down at Mc's for food, and some guys suspected us and followed just to tell us that "they know" LOL, went to watch men at compounds and waved hi and they were like "e8le6oo" LMAO!!! Was followed by crazy bushes that our driver had to give the finger to prove that we were guys!!!! Trying too hard LOL, last but not least every friend of our called us up and wanted to join, we stopped when we reached seven, the car couldn't take no more people!! The craziest was going through m7madya and KSU campus driving, we felt sorry for all the girls living there cuz all their parents would suspect them now =S We dented a car driving on Olaya passing Mamlakah, LOL, and we actually stopped, got the windows down, and asked him if we can go =D he said yes.. A lot more that I am tired to say but can be summed up in the fact that it was a fun night and I loved cruising around, but I like it more white a driver ;)

By 1 AM my friend driving dropped me off at my place, and went through the King Fahad Highway to go home!! She went with her driver next day to drop the car and paid 2000 more cuz we had overdone the limit of 150 KMs, come on people, Riyadh is 10,000 Km!!!!!

Let's Talk About The "Dens"..

Okay, I know this is a very old topic, and almost everyone who "talks" here, already had their say about it.

Well, I never thought I'd have my turn, but today, Friday, after Thoher prayer when all the family was gathered and a relative who sponsored the "Anti-Dens-Campaign" just a little too much.. The debate was intense, I had to document some of the thoughts here, cuz' most of those who wrote about it, were more or less, just like my relative in thought.. So here goes;

* Most supportive non-Arab country with the Palestinian Cause.
* Helped and had a big role in the Oslo II" Interim Agreement in 1995 to give Palestinian people a country.

* Their Prime minister was killed because of his support to the Palestinians. -You know by whom-
*When at last, the Palestine's got a country, they gave them 3 jets as a gif, no other Arab country did that, only Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal gave them one.

So what we might be doing right now is giving the Denmark and the west a real reason to hate Muslims and the Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-.

Punishing a country's nation for a single mans act!

My blog and I are taking a break..

Once Upon a December..

Although Jo' was wearing enough cloths for anyone to join the Eskimo, she was determined for the chairlift to finally arrive at her stop the top of the ski resort mountain to get some hot coco and give her eyes a feast looking at the hot ski bum working at the slopes. Finally, she arrives pffing some hot breath as she pulls the protective bar up and says good bye to the nice French middle-aged man setting next to her, looking up for help her crush was there and ready for any possible injuries.

She, of course acts like a pro and gets down smoothly on her way to the slope, there she tries skiing off the very steep top where she never had the guts to try going down on. looks at the coffee place and sees mr. hotty looking at her and giving her a thumbs up, her face flushes with shyness, looks down at the slope and decides to go now, takes a deep cold breath and goes, slowly at first then carving -a zig-zag technique that her ski buddies have been showing her- her way downhill.

She arrives down and goes again, this time; Lindsey joins her, as they have met at the bottom. Riding with an English guy who works in Singapore this time, when at the end, mr. hotty stops her for a "talk" he says.. And she waves Lindsey away.. "Go ahead, I'll catch up" Jo' says.. And looks at the oh-my-God-so-hot guy..

As much as I think; life is basicllay about meeting people, just to say farewell to them later on for whatever reason there might be..

Knowing that fact, never made it easier. I just hope, that it alway hapens for the best.

Horoscope 101 - Mine, that is ;)

What horoscope tell us is true! I don't mean to sound naive, but as per my zodiac sign; life is about emotions and financials!! Which are two things a Taurus is so known for (also patience, Romance, Talent, let me demonstrate.. Maybe give some tips financially as I know I rock, and you can tip me on emotions as I know I Suck.. -lol, it rhymes.. Maybe I'll add writing poems too, I do that, just not that often cuz it brings me to tears :(-


Ok, Finances never been a problem to me, I have a saving account for fun activities, a retirement fund -and I'm only 21- so 35% of my salary and allowance-when I used to get that- went there, all the rest were for me to waste with no worries, as I know I got the fun account for emergencies and the retirement fund for after at least 20 years..

As far as my emotions can go, I'll tell you, I am a Happy go lucky person, you love to hang out with me :P but yet, the biggest drama queen.. Cry very easily, and when people I care for do me wrong, I never say.. And if I do, I don't want to hear em out :'(

I love music, as per my sign.. I should!! lol, I want to be a musician -maybe drummer =P- in another life.. I love kareoke! And I can write.. Or at least I think I can.

lol, regarding looks, WE'RE HOT :P no argument there.. I'm not that horoscope freak -yeah right!-, but a lot is true, and ya'll can tell. Even God in Qura'an said that our fates are written on the stars..

Define friends?

I always thought being friends meant doing everything together, experincing new stuff with each other, and keeping memories of that we can share as we grow older.

As I grow older, I see that new friends have their own other lives, which is normal as I have been lacking in thier last 20 years or so.

But, when you realise an old friend, whom always thought that she is your closest friend had another life, and did stuff that you always thought you'd do together, things change.

I have been fond of this girl in particular, she meant alot to me.. but nowadays I don't even want to listen to her explain what the hell changed her! And she had fought with me just a month ago that I was the one who's drifting away.. Well, Deemo.. If I drifted, it's cuz you drove me away.

We we're never friends cuz we were alike, and you know that.. you are what I hate in Saudis! and I am what you hate in them too.. But that never stoped us from hanging out and being best friends.. But now it is why I don't even want to see you, or talk to you ever again.

Funny how an 8 year friendship can be gone in a stupid act of a so called so Saudi grown up..

I hate Itunes!!

This has been kool, I got some sorta eye infection, and my sweet ol' Doc gave me 2 days of sick leave =D

I get to rub losion INSIDE my eye, plus the drops, but hey, home watching the Joey show and DHW was so damn relaxing!!

I went to my Itunes, I remember it converted music to MP3s.. Today it drove me crazy =S I need to buy a manual, or to write one!! As I seem to forget a lot -I am pretty sure I did that before-

Tomorrow's my big day, in this week I been gone, people came and left, conspiracies were done, fingers were pointed everywhere, and even I -in Dubai madre shesalfah- was brought into an investigation, and last; a good friend of mine at work resigned!!

Suprisingly though; I am pretty excited to see how tomorrow is going to treat me..

did I mention that I am banned from wearing contacts :( back to my red rimmed old dated glasses - I REALLY need to buy new ones, and I did today inshallah they turn out nice-

Just Another Day..

It was 9PM when we arrived to the hotel after we came back from skiing for two very exhausting hours at the artificial ski slope at The Mall of the Emirates. We were so tired and drained out, but as me and my baby sister entered our room, we got revived.. Or at least one of us did..

Baby sis: lets go catch a movie before we sleep at City Center

Fo0f: Too late Laila, lets just catch a movie on TV and go to sleep

Baby sis: Nooooooooooooooooooooooufff yalaaaaaa, ma ra7 n6awel

Fo0f: Laila, movies are still there tomorrow! it would take us at least 2 more hours and you know how tired we are!

Baby sis: Ok ok, no movie, but lets go to City Center

Once at City Center, not only we went shopping, but we also saw a guy, and both my sister and I smiled stupidly at him! He just looked like 3aziz so much!! and as much as we miss our sarcastic bro, we couldn't but feel tears and smile at the boy!!

The guy, being a Saudi, thought we were in love with him or sthn'!! and I hated for that Saudi 7arkat to happen, thing is; every time we see the guy we smile!! even if we tried not to, in the end i had to go home, and I didn't want such guy to follow me to my hotel, so I thought I'll have a talk with him! lol, maybe I was too upfront..

I took the photo and left t have a cup of some Costa Café coffee - I so LUV that place now!- he went there too with his friends and had coffee, and for a min I thought he wasn't gonna stop and I didn't care anymore.. We took our coffee to-go and went to the parking and called it a night..
There is one of my crazed up actions, I shown my other sister and bro the picture.. They laughed and thought I was drunk to do such a thing :P

Once upon a time in Dubai - I'M BACK!!

lol, yeah I am baaack!! And I got a story to tell.. Actually more than one, but hey. I got endless blogspace for that :P

First of all, I'd ike to tell ya'll that Dubai is a "mall world"!! I'm not complaining, it's just that this was my first time visiting, and I kinda expected it to be more than that.. I shoped till I dropped! mn jdd I am so broke right now, I'm worried its still the begining of the month :\
