Friday.. I Wish I was in UAE Right Now =\

Two days ago I was shopping along with my baby sister.. A white chick with green eyes kept on bumping into us, and seemed lost in a very funny way, she was talking to herself as I was loling and walking checking stuff out, she came around me and my sis again, and she was like hey sorry but I think I am lost, don't mind me, she was so funny.. She checked out my necklace which was a little silver Taurus that my baby sis brought me for my birthday, and she started talking about signs and that she's half Saudi and was jinxed enough to be with her dad in Saudi rather than being with her mom in Spain -I so backed her up on that one, LOL-

Things as I see them are; we got real big families in Saudi.. And we are attached to our 10th distant cousin, if I carry the same family name with someone; automatic people think we're related, and lately I do say yes, we are the SAME family but I don't know them..

Also, I have a dad like many dads who knows everyone in the family and expects me to do the same.. I tried convincing him that life aint like it was, where you're only community is your family, and even if I wanted to know everyone it's hard to keep up.. I have 5 aunts from dads side each is married with more than 7 kids and with grandchildren.. 7 uncles.. Same story.. Then again, that's only dad's side..

Recently I adopted my own principle in families.. Your only family is the family you make, if you didn't make one yet then it's the one that made you, in my case; mom, dad and my siblings.. I am trying to convince people to follow my path, and they seem to like it.. Hopefully we'll get over those big family dinners where you know no one, and you just kill some sheep to make the old family members more sick.

Yeah, you can tell my mood from this entry.. What can I say; week-ends over.
