My Thoughts After One Year of Working..

This week has been hectic -don't all my weeks seem to be always that =S- anyhow, I got lots work I want to finish since next week I wont be reporting to my office, wow, it's time for some change to re-fuel me to work..

This week I'm in love with The O.C.'s theme song, bare with me.. California, here we come.. Right back where we started from.., ok ok, I'll get this over with, here goes:

• You should be friendly to everyone, you never know who that person is.
• In order of getting your internal issues solved, you need to know someone in every department.
• You can drink anything in a mug.
• Compact make-up cases rock! And a handy Mascara does wonders!
• Avoid encounters with weirdoes.
• Don't mess with End User Support -IT Help Desk- guys, if you're in their black list, you work life will be a living hell.
• Eat healthy food, fast food and delivery consumes your health and salary.
  Don't be a girl at work, it's just pathetic to soften your voice and give your phony smiles here, people will see you everyday, you can never keep it up!
• Don't go on dissing people in your same department to other departments, they'll look down at you.
• If you're sitting on you're ass for more than eight hrs a day, you need to join a GYM.
• Dissing a girl is worse, everybody knows you're jealous and that's all you could do to her.
• Help out a colleague will always make you the bigger person.
  If you don't like what they assign you to do, say so! And don't do it. -you need a reason 6b3n-
• You need an Extra toothbrush and paste for work.
• It's ok to say no to your boss!
• Sneakers rock!
• Never say I don't know, say show me how, I'll ask or read about it ;)
• Filing IS important. -I for one never thought I'd say that-
• It's not really hard to get a job if you're qualified.
• If you don't stand up for your rights, no one will, and you'll never get them.
• Enjoy training, it's your time off the stress.
• It's not hard to get anyone a job when you're "in".
• Be friendly to everyone, yet know who their manager is and let them know you will contact him if the job's not done.
• You start to call your family and home more often.
• Give people more than what they expected.
• A Perfume, hand cream, anti bacterial gel, band aid, Vasline are a must.
• Intranet is quite usefull and interesting.
• Always keep a glass of water next to you.
• Walk in every morning with a good attitude, it reflects the rest of the day.
• Always keep a record of your work, others feedback.
• Most people are clueless to what their doing.
• I understand everything!
• In case of any mis-understanding, next encounter act like nothing happened, nothings supposed to be personal at work.
• Working in big organizations mean meeting co-workers who are relatives, friends, relatives friends.
• Keep in contact with work, even if you're on sick leave, call and catch up.
• The whole "any publicity is good publicity" is very wrong!
• Try meeting the people you email/fax/phone who work with you under the same roof in person.
• If you're not doing a job that you like or enjoy, you better quit. -did that! Never regretted it-
• Staying at work after working hours mean your happy with what you're doing. - ;) Medo, Itachi; sorry but I think no way!-
• Always take the stairs.
• Don't let them have anything on you.
• Work is not a place to make friends, don't make it a goal to socialize.
• Always keep your sense of humor.
• Reading the news paper is part of working!!
• Working in open areas mean not accomplishing much work.
• A persons' second family is his work colleagues.
• Enjoy meeting people.
• Take any chance to move from your desk, to a printer, water cooler, to fix ur own coffee..etc.
